AYLUS Frisco & Plano received an order from a local Indian community group that they needed cotton candy, balloon art, and face painting service at their New Year Bash party on December 31, 2023. First, many young artists among our members gathered together at Frisco Library to learn how to make face paint on December 28, 2023. We learned three types of face paint for boys and many for girls: butterfly, rainbow, butterfly, etc. On the day of the New Year Bash party, we arrived early at the event center and prepared three stations: one station for cotton candy, the reception was assigned to us to make balloon art, and a station for young face paint artists. Many girls and parents loved our face painting and gave us positive feedback. Almost every kid at the party ordered a cotton candy. The most popular item was the balloon art. We had four types of balloon art: dog, sword, flower, and butterfly. Flower balloon art was the girls’ favorite. It was such a successful event. We advocated the AYLUS spirit to local Indian communities and helped the Children’s Medical Center’s fundraiser.
