It was the first Saturday after school had started, dedicated volunteers from the Frisco & Plano branch gathered at Russell Creek Park again to support the African Library Project. This Saturday’s temperature had risen to about 100°F. Despite the scorching heat, our volunteers tirelessly dedicated themselves, ensuring every task was completed with unwavering commitment. With the successful launch of Apple Pay and credit card payments, along with the hard work of our team, we broke the fundraising record for our event at Russell Creek.
