On August 24th, we set up shop at Russell Creek park again to help fundraise for Loops for Love — with boba tea, shaved ice, bedding materials & backpacks (new!), and cotton candy prepared. Starting from 7 pm and ending at 9:30 pm, one table of volunteers would sell the bedding products and backpacks, while the other did the food and drinks. Additionally, a group deemed the advertising team would go out and advertise the shop to people around the park. This Saturday sold exceptionally well, with many people around the park having bought food and drinks. Many people were also interested in the bedding materials and backpacks! At the end, all volunteers were rewarded for their hard work with boba tea made from the leftover ingredients, making sure none of it would go to waste and expire.
