On September 15th, our group of Aylus volunteers arrived at TMMTD flea market at 10 am to set up our tables and accessories in preparation for the event. Upon arriving we were given a separate area to set up. After getting the stand ready, more and more people began to show interest in our work. Despite the extreme heat, we still managed to sell a collection of backpacks, bracelets, rings and more. The money generated will act as a fundraiser to support the “Loops for Love” project. Before leaving at 3 pm, the volunteers made sure to clean up the area. Overall, I believe this opportunity has taught us how to interact with others and helped us make friends along the way.
