Today, our team of ALYUS volunteers helped out with the AGAPE Special Needs Program. This morning we did a variety of activities such as playing UNO cards, singing and dancing together, discussing the meaning of Christmas, learning social skills. We accompanied the special needs throughout the lessons and helped them to engage in the activities. At the end Karen taught everyone to do a craft which was making a dog toy out of used t-shirts! We helped them through all the steps and made a bunch of toys to donate!
