On the afternoon of December 23rd, 2024, AYLUS Frisco & Plano Branch members gathered at the Children’s Health Center in Plano to donate hats as part of the Loops For Love Project. In the Loops For Love Project, volunteers crochet or knit chemo hats or small items to then be donated to children’s hospitals for the cancer patients in need. As of December 23rd, hundreds of chemo hats had been made by AYLUS volunteers. Before the event, volunteers got into contact with the hospital staff to schedule an appointment to donate the hats. Volunteers then met up outside the hospital and donated the hats. We look forward to donating even more hats to children’s hospitals! Great work volunteers!
