On February 9, 2025, 7 AYLUS volunteers visited the Plano Animal Shelter and donated dog toys made from old clothes in the past. We met at 3:00 PM and took a picture with our work. Then we gathered up all the toys, a total of 139, and we put them into the big basket at the entrance. Afterwards, the people that had time went in to check out the animals while others left. We saw a lot of dogs that had lots of toys in their cages. As we left, we thought about how our work accompanies dogs while they wait to be adopted.
