Our wonderful AYLUS members spent their time collecting batteries from their neighbors/ friends. After spending lots of time on this project we went to the Frisco recycling center to recycle all the batteries we collected. Instead of spending time and resources making new batteries we recycled old batteries that people already used saving lots of natural resources and helping reduce waste. These acts might be small, but after lots of time these small things add up. This wonderful project lets our AYLUS members help the environment and learn about recycling by collecting their batteries.
