On Saturday, September 27, the Frisco/Plano Branch of AYLUS hosted its 12th Arts in Action event at the library. This time, we focused on making pipe cleaner flowers and bookmarks.
The activity was simple but really fun. As we made flowers, we ran into a small challenge with the pipe cleaners since not all the colors matched. Even so, everyone got creative and ended up with colorful, one-of-a-kind flowers. Alongside the flowers, we also made bookmarks that will later be used for fundraising.
What stood out most about this event was the easy conversation and teamwork. Even with limited materials, we helped each other out and enjoyed spending time together.
Overall, it was a relaxed and productive afternoon where we got to be creative and share ideas while making crafts for a good cause.
