On October 5th, 2025, members of AYLUS Frisco-Plano branch participated in a fundraising event at the Frisco Commons Park. The leaders started off the event by assigning each member a role and also telling the volunteers of the important work that was to come. After finishing the sign-in sheet, the members split into their respective jobs, with some working the popcorn machine, cotton candy machine, snow cone machine, and the cash register. The leaders also showed the members how to work the newly added popcorn machine, demonstrating by letting the volunteers make a batch with the help of the leaders. The cotton candy machine is still as popular as ever with the customers, with some parents taking a picture of the cotton candy machine at work. All in all, the volunteers managed to fundraise enough money to be donated to the children’s hospitals, as well as provide the community with treats and hospitality. Great job, volunteers!
