On Friday afternoon, October 24, volunteers from AYLUS Frisco-Plano sorted and packaged the books for the African Library Project. Over 1,000 books were collected and packaged into boxes by the volunteers, after being checked for a final sort for grades and counting. This library will be the 9th library created by books donated by the Frisco and Plano community. In the past, we have shipped books to Kenya, Lesotho, South Africa, and more. All of the volunteers worked extremely hard at this event in order to package all of 1,030 books in time for shipping.
