On February 1, 2025, AYLUS volunteers Tianlu Zhou, Kevin Dong, Andrew Wang, Olivia Xu, Vivian Wang, and Ryan Ma brought festive cheer to the Special Needs Program at DCFC by hosting a Chinese New Year-themed craft session. The event, themed around the Year of the Snake, immersed participants in Chinese culture through hands-on creativity and festive activities. A special highlight was the crafting of handcraft firecrackers, a thrilling new experience for many participants. As volunteers, we realized that sharing traditions isn’t just about teaching; it’s about learning together and celebrating our shared heritage.
